Monique DeMoan All kinds of reasons, I wasn’t asked to sign or when I was, my schedule didn’t match up.
Roger T. Pipe How did you end up signing at the Anabolic booth this year?
Monique DeMoan Chris Alexander asked me to sign and I was more than willing to be here to help support them. I’ve done a lot of work for them this year and I love everyone at Anabolic.
Roger T. Pipe Is it everything you hoped it would be?
Monique DeMoan It’s great. I’m getting lots of attention, the fans are great. I’m very excited about the whole thing and very excited about the awards tonight.

Monique DeMoan When I was twenty years old, I went to see Ed Powers. I didn’t think I was going to make a career out of it. I figured I would do one just to try it, but I really liked it. It just sort of took off from there. Ed helped me pick out my performing name. I came up with the name Monique because I really liked it. He came up with DeMoan because my mom is part French. That’s how I came up with the name.
Roger T. Pipe Have you been doing this for seven years straight?
Monique DeMoan No, I was out of the business for about a year and have been back in for about seven or eight months now.
Roger T. Pipe Do plan to stay in for a couple of years?
Monique DeMoan Oh yeah, for as long as I can go, I’m back to stay.
Roger T. Pipe Great, let’s get a little history. When were you born.
Monique DeMoan August 11th, 1972.

Monique DeMoan No, I was basically just hanging out. I wanted something different. I had done some dancing here and there and knew some girls who did movies. I thought it sounded like fun, but I didn’t think I could do it on camera.

Monique DeMoan Yes, I’ve done some and yeah, I really like them. I would love to do more of those kinds of movies. I can act, I can read dialog. It’s not that hard. The roles I have done, I think I’ve handled pretty well.

Monique DeMoan Jon Dough, my old man, had a contract with them.

Monique DeMoan You know what, a lot of people in this business have their ups and downs. For them to say what they said is totally wrong. Tom Byron of all people has absolutely no room to talk and he knows it. I have partied with that guy many times and he knows he has no room to talk. He’s the biggest drug addict in this business. And Rob Black? What, does he think prescription drugs are any better? Like that doesn’t make him an addict? He’s on tons of anti-depressants He’s all doped up all the time.

Monique DeMoan Hell no, never.
