Tera Patrick: I am so excited to have my first production under my belt. Reign of Tera is a very visual, very sexy feature with lots of style, glamour, and hot sex. I think this is definitely the movie my fans have been waiting for. We spent a month casting it, and we absolutely found the hottest girls, and guys to perform in it.
Vivid Team: How was it different being directed by Spyder Jonez, compared to other directors?
Tera Patrick: Working with Spyder was extremely different because since he is my husband, I had to try to look at him as a director and not as my significant other. The biggest upside is that he is the only person in the world who "really" knows me. He knows exactly how to get the best performances out of me, both sexually and in my acting. We share a lot of the same fantasies and visions, "TERAVISION."
Vivid Team: How much help did you give Spyder in creating the vision and direction of the movie?
Tera Patrick: I was very involved in the styling of the movie and the entire concept. My fans keep asking me for more Asian girls, but told me they don't really like the way a lot of them are shot! I guess they refer to a lot of the Asian gonzo. I wanted to create a movie that had really hot sex, but also allowed each and every one of the girls to look and feel beautiful! Porn has a very important place in our society, but it should be fun and taken light heartedly! A lot of people who failed in mainstream take this way too seriously. It is important to me that all my movie sets are fun!
Vivid Team: Is there anything in particular you'd like your fans to know?
Tera Patrick: I would like my fans to know that this is a fantasy movie I have created just for you! It also contains a bonus disc which makes the total movie over 4 hours long! In a time where so many shady companies put me on a boxcover and say they have a 3 hour Tera movie, when it is one 3 minute scene from 2000, I think the fans should know, the ONLY real Tera Patrick movies are from Teravsion and Vivid!
Vivid Team: Can you remember any outstanding performances by any of the girls you worked with in this feature?
Tera Patrick: I really loved working with my good friend Charmane Star! We didn't just fuck. We made love. It really comes across on screen too. Spyder felt he had enough and called out "cut" and Charmane and I just kept going! He kept the cameras rolling! You have to see it! I really like the scene that Jayna Oso did with Tommy Gunn, Peter Shaft and Seth Dickens! She really handled these men! I love to watch insatiable women! Vivid Team: How has your life changed, since becoming a Vivid Girl?
Tera Patrick: People I have worked with in the past were really more out to promote themselves as opposed to Vivid, who is promoting an Idea! The idea that women are beautiful, and that sex is glorious! I have felt more beautiful in every Vivid movie that I have done than ever before! Besides the fact that Teravsion is partners with Vivid, I am surrounded by the most beautiful women in the world! My Vivid sisters. In my opinion, no one even comes close! Steven and I think this is by far the best roster Vivid has ever had! To me, being a Vivid girl is an honor, it says you are the Ferrari, or the rolls Royce! It feels classy and glamorous, and above all, sexy!
Vivid Team: What do you see coming up next in your career?
Tera Patrick: I am braching out doing many things! I am working very hard on my website, clubtera.com, my novelty line, "the Tera Patrick collection" through California Exotic Novelties, Being the Publisher of Genesis magazine, doing my live internet chats at flirt4free.com, and of course making more movies for Vivid and Teravision! We are definitely growing in many ways and even working on plans for a reality show and a clothing line!
Vivid Team: Vivid just signed up some new contract girls, are you looking forward to working with any of them?
Tera Patrick: I have already worked with Monique Alexander in my newest Vivid project directed by Paul Thomas! Our sex scene was so amazing! I fought and was able to prevail, and now that I have a powerful team in place, I would like to look out for girls (and guys) in "the business" so they don't get fucked around and sign their lives away. When I first came into the biz, I wish there was someone looking out for me! I had some regrets at one point, but I have landed on my feet, and with the help of my manager, my legal team, and Vivid, I have never been happier! (the REIGN OF TERA has begun)
