Melody My name is Melody.
Roger T. Pipe How long have you been in the business?
Melody Just about seven months now.
Roger T. Pipe So you're fairly new.
Melody Very new.
Roger T. Pipe What were you doing before?
Melody I was giving swimming lessons. I'm a certified swim instructor.
Roger T. Pipe How do you go from teaching swimming to porn?
Melody I'm a very sexual person and after a while I got to the point where I was getting bored. I wanted to try something new. Porno is fantasy and it was a way for me to do something I hadn't done before. There was no real planning to it, it was just something I did when I moved to L.A.
Roger T. Pipe Where are you from?
Melody I had lived in San Francisco my whole life, but for the two months before I got into porn I was living in New Zealand.
Roger T. Pipe What were you like growing up?
Melody When I was younger I saw super quiet. I was also a Tomboy. When I got older I started having boyfriends and kind of went nuts.
Roger T. Pipe If someone you went to high school with were to pick up one of your videos, do you think they would be surprised?
Melody Yes and no. All of my friends knew that I was sexually active and crazy. Everyone in my hometown actually does know and a lot of them are shocked. A lot of the girls are half-jealous and look at me like I'm a slut.
Roger T. Pipe What was the first movie you did?
Melody I did the traditional Ed Powers movie, breaking into the porn industry movie.
Roger T. Pipe How was that?
Melody If you want me to be really honest, it was the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me. I walked into his house, he showed me his movies and told me he wanted to shoot me. I said "cool, who am I working with?" He was like "me" and I laughed. I thought that porn guys would be buff and good looking. My first experience was quite shocking.
Roger T. Pipe Is Ed the kind of guy that you would normally have been sleeping with?
Melody No, no way, I'd have to go with no on that one.
Roger T. Pipe Was it a decent experience at least?
Melody He used a condom which was good for my first time. It wasn't that good of an experience. I was kind of scared of way, but I told myself, "This can't be it. This can't be what porn is about."
Roger T. Pipe So things got better?
Melody Oh yeah, that isn't what porn is. Lately I've been working with much cooler people. They don't have to be drop dead gorgeous, but when I work for Anabolic? the guys are cool.
Roger T. Pipe What are some of the movies you've made for Anabolic?
Melody Besides "Lewd Conduct 16", I did a 2 On 1, Spring Chickens, Nice Rack, Down the Hatch, Ass Cream Pie, Nasty Nymphos, Balls Deep. I think I've been in just about every line except for the Gang Bang Girl.
Roger T. Pipe Is that something you want to do?
Melody Yes and no. Yes because I think it would be fun, it's always been a sexual fantasy of mine and no because it's always been my fantasy and I don't want to kill it.
Roger T. Pipe Down the Hatch is a swallowing series, is that something you were doing before porn?
Melody No, before I got into the business, it never even went on me.
Roger T. Pipe Were you a dodger?
Melody Not me, it was the guys. They would just shy away. As soon as I got into the business, the guys are like "Yeah, right in your mouth." It's been quite a change.
Roger T. Pipe I doubt if you were doing anal cream pies back home.
Melody No. I actually hadn't done anything anal before Anabolic.

Melody John Strong. He was fine.
Roger T. Pipe It's good that they didn't throw you right in with Lex the first time out.
Melody Oh no, I never could have taken that. I still haven't worked with Lex.

Melody Steve Holmes.
Roger T. Pipe About how many movies have you done so far?
Melody I think I'm at about one hundred. The first four or five months I was working a lot, I would do two scenes a day. I liked the work and I liked the money. I've slowed down lately.
Roger T. Pipe Are there any movies that stand out as your best work?
Melody I would check out the Legend movies because they are some of the best movies I've done. One of my favorites was "Princess Whore 2" which had one of my best sex scenes. Also the movies from New Sensations and of course the Anabolic and Diabolic titles.
Roger T. Pipe Do you have any favorite guys to work with?
Melody I really like Erik Everhard. He's a friend of mine and I feel really comfortable with him. Lee Stone has always been fun and easy to work with. Pat Myne and Jay Ashley are good.
Roger T. Pipe Lee is a pretty big guy.
Melody Yes he is.
Roger T. Pipe Is that something that is a plus for you?
Melody Lee and Julian are two of my favorites. They are so big, but it's never been a problem. Lee has that curve, but I've been really fine. We always get a hot scene.
Roger T. Pipe Guys don't have to be that big to turn you on though?
Melody Not at all. Actually, that is not my preferred size.
Roger T. Pipe Well there is Lee Stone and Ed Powers,, which would you take?
Melody I would never take Ed Powers, but it isn't about the size. There are a lot of young, good looking guys who aren't that well endowed and I enjoy working with them.
Roger T. Pipe Do you work with girls?
Melody Yes I do.
Roger T. Pipe Is that something you did before the business?
Melody No, I was really timid for the first few months because I didn't know what to do. Once I did it, everything was great. These days I'm doing mainly girl/girl and magazine work.
Roger T. Pipe Do you have any favorite girls?
Melody I like Cherokee a lot. She is a down to earth, cool girl. We looked good together. I haven't worked with Judy Starr, but she is my best friend. I like Ander Page. Erik and I DP'd her and that was fun.
Roger T. Pipe Are there any girls or guy you haven't worked with yet, but would really like to?
Melody I met this girl Domino who was cool. I'm not just dying to work with anyone special right now. There are people I won't work with.

Melody I won't work with Ed Powers again. I won't work with Alex Sanders again because I had a really bad experience with him.
Roger T. Pipe Really? Most everyone loves Alex.
Melody I did my second movie with him and he nearly scared me out of the business.
Roger T. Pipe What happened?
Melody Let's just say that it wasn't pleasant. To make it worse, he told me that I wasn't cut out for the business when we were done. After a horrible time, he got all over me, telling me that wasn't cut out for the business. I heard he recently requested me for a scene, fuck him.
Roger T. Pipe What has the fan reaction been like at this show?
Melody It's mostly what I expected. Some of it has been appalling. Some of the guys have been really crude and following me around. I expected it to some extent, but a little bit of tact would be nice.
Roger T. Pipe Do most of the people know you from your work or do they just think you're hot and want an autograph?
Melody It's been about half and half. A lot of people know me from my work, but some of them just pretend they know me.
Roger T. Pipe How tall are you?
Melody 5'4"
Roger T. Pipe And your measurements?
Melody I don't really know all of them. I'm a 34c, 115 pounds.
Roger T. Pipe And natural of course.
Melody Yes, all natural.
Roger T. Pipe Are you going to keep them that way?
Melody Completely. I have no tattoos, no piercing, nothing.
